Etsy Open API Integration

SellerBowl for
Etsy Sellers

Connect your own Etsy shop with a few clicks and manage your listings, catalog content, orders, and shipment tracking through the official Etsy Open API.

SellerBowl is a workflow platform that Etsy sellers connect to their own shop through Etsy’s OAuth flow. Every action is seller-initiated and scoped to the shop you authorize.

SellerBowl accesses your private Etsy shop data only after you authorize it through Etsy’s official OAuth flow, and performs Etsy actions only after a seller-initiated approval step.

Authorized Use

Etsy API Use Cases

SellerBowl uses the Etsy Open API only for the following seller-authorized purposes, scoped to the shop that grants OAuth consent.

1

Listing Management

Create and update the connected seller’s draft and active listings — titles, descriptions, tags, materials, price, quantity, and variations — only when the seller approves the change.

2

Listing Images

Upload and manage images the seller provides or generates for their own listings.

3

Shop & Inventory Read

Read the connected shop’s details, listings, and inventory to power the seller’s own dashboards and reports.

4

Order Review

Read the connected shop’s orders and receipts so the seller can organize and track their own fulfillment.

5

Shipment Tracking

Add shipment tracking to the seller’s orders after the seller ships them, through the official Etsy Open API.

6

Seller-Approved Submission

Perform Etsy actions only after explicit seller OAuth authorization and a clear seller-initiated approval step.

Important: All Etsy actions are initiated by the authorized seller. SellerBowl does not automatically publish or modify Etsy listings without a clear seller action.

Data Handling

How We Use Etsy Data

Data We May Access

Private Etsy shop data is accessed only through the official Etsy Open API after you grant OAuth consent, and only for the connected shop. SellerBowl does not use scraping, browser automation, or unofficial methods to obtain your Etsy shop data. Access may include:

  • Your shop details and profile
  • Your listings and inventory
  • Your draft and active listing content
  • Your orders and receipts
  • Shipment tracking you add to your orders

What We Do Not Do

SellerBowl is committed to responsible data use. We do not:

  • Sell your Etsy shop data
  • Use your data for unrelated advertising
  • Share your data with unrelated third parties
  • Screen-scrape Etsy or sidestep the API to retrieve or post data
  • Access other sellers’ private shop data
  • Access data outside the scopes you grant
  • Manipulate reviews, ratings, or search placement

You remain in control of what is published to your Etsy shop.
